Ways to Help

If it were not for your generous support, St. Philomene Parish would either cease to exist or be severely limited in its ability to provide much needed services to the community. Please continue to provide us with your time, your talent, your hard work and donations so that we may continue to provide services to the poor, to the parish in general, and to our Lord.

There are many ways to support our parish. Here are a few to consider:

Become a registered member of St. Philomene, and attend Mass weekly. Being present at Mass every Sunday does more for the community than most people realize. Your presence is valued, and is a witness to the world of your faith! To register, please complete and return the Request for Registration Form found in the weekly bulletin.
Join a parish ministry. There are many groups and ministries here at St. Philomene who could use someone like you! Please consult the "Parish Ministries" link on the home page to find a list.
Donate non-perishable food items. For example, the St. Philomene chapter of St. Vincent de Paul routinely asks for specific food items in the parish bulletin. These items can be dropped off at the parish office during business hours. You can also contact the ministry directly to make other arrangements. Grocery bags will be filled with these foods, then distributed to families in need.
Support parish events. The parish festival, dinners, classes and other community events not only raise much needed funds for our parish, but also contribute to parishioners getting to know one another. Please mark your calendar when these events are announced at Mass.
