Lectors

Lectors are confirmed Catholics and registered members of the parish and are called by the Holy Spirit to proclaim God’s Word. This ministry requires confidence, poise, and sensitivity to the assembly. Reading skills, a clear and steady voice, and the ability to develop proclamation techniques are the attributes of a lector. Commitment to this ministry includes attending training, workshops, and appropriate study of the assigned readings.
